Last night I dreamt that I went into a high-end clothing shop (a clear "dream sign," like going out in public in only my underwear, and other things I'd never do IRL). I had to wait awhile for someone to come help me; but eventually, not one, but TWO cheerful sales associates appeared, and they began to speak in precise unison, along the lines of "Hello, I'm Cathy, and I'll be glad to assist you today. Is there any particular article you're looking for?" I asked if they both spelled "Cathy" the same way, and they broke unison long enough to explain that they spelled it differently. I said this would enable me to tell them apart (which was a joke, since of course that's no help aurally—and, anyway, they didn't *look* identical, so they were in fact already distinguishable). At around this point I was realizing that I didn't have time to shop for clothing, and I'd never buy anything in this sort of place anyway, thus it had been silly of me to come in...but, I reflected, it had been worth it for the hilarious unison Cathys.
