Here's an extraordinarily rare college yearbook acknowledgement of the dangers of binge drinking. Having studied several thousand college yearbooks published over the centuries, what we still don't understand is this: if college has always been a glorified bacchanal, why aren't breweries our campuses and pubs our dormitories? This is a serious question. Bonus question (with an answer): Why do college yearbooks always have a "Year in review" section with notable world events? Because that's the first time the black-out drunk students will have heard or remembered any of it.
Our photo is from Clemson's 1986 yearbook.
