[Inexplicable images from generations ago invite us to restore the lost
sense of immediacy. We follow the founder of the Theater of
Spontaneity, Jacob Moreno, who proposed stringing together "now and then
flashes" to unfetter illusion and let imagination run free. The images
we have collected for this series came at a tremendous price, which we explained previously.] |

We sensed something disquieting about this photo and analyzed it with our custom Uncanny Detector app. Note the enlargement of the face on the figure at the right. There is a long snout protruding from a dark face with shaggy blond bangs (or some sort of jagged hood?), the right eye (on our left) gleaming. But also -- protruding from the side of the figure's head (on our left) there is a second face in profile, looking downward, with a very sharp nose and the hint of a smile. Do you see these details like our app did? Blurred as it may be, this is clearly an entity from the Otherworld.
From East Carolina's 1973 yearbook.
